Long-term client WVfC was holding meetings in their Hackney branch for a week and needed publicity leaflets.
The brief was:
- To convey something unique for a church
- To show the people in a real way
- Make a clean design
- Have some variation but consistency in the design
We decided to take pictures of the congregation of the church instead of any stock photos. The photography was shot after a service at the chapel in Hackney, East London to make it easier for those who were taking part in the photoshoot.
We kept the colours quite simple in keeping with the WVfC branding, and used bold slab serif fonts. Four variations were used for the front and a common back was created, this allowed use of larger images.
